Federal law requires that individuals in the work place, whose job responsibilities place them in a position where they could be exposed to the blood or body fluids of another individual, must receive yearly training in Universal Precautions. This course, along with the supplemental materials, was created as one option for schools to utilize to satisfy this training requirement. It is not mandatory for Indiana schools to use this training tool – schools may choose any educational format that meets the requirements of the federal law. This course does not include a quiz and the participant will be able to print a certificate of completion once the video presentation has been viewed. There is no enrollment key for this course.
